Hope Mueller is a founding member of the Foundation and is currently the Vice President of the Emerald Empire Sports Car Club (EESCC), a title she has held for 5 years. She joined the club and began racing in 2012, after coming to autocross races to watch her dad race and practice her hobby as a photographer. She began racing herself in 2012, and soon volunteered with her stepmom Licia Shultz as a Novice Coordinator, to help participants new to the sport shorten their “learning curve”. She is currently a member of the family racing team “Bad Hippie Racing”, along with Licia, her dad Jerry, her sister Jamie, and brothers Jeff and Abe. The team is currently upgrading the Nissan she started racing in 2012 and finishing work on a Chevy-powered 1967 Corvair.

Hope’s background includes 20 years of experience working as a volunteer with a non-profit corporation and 20-plus years of construction industry experience as an estimator. When not racing, working on race cars or volunteering, she takes care of a rural homestead where she and her family are building their home, caring for farm animals, gardening, and riding horses.
